Four aspects of core English literacy
从国家政策层面,英语的主课地位在短期内不会改变,相反义务教育和高中英语新课标都把英语核心素养作为课程总目标,包括语言能力( language competence )、文化意识( cultural awareness) 、思维品质 ( thinking quality ) 和学习能力( learning ability ) 。核心素养的四个方面相互渗透,协同发展。From the perspective of national policy, the status of English as a major subject will not change in the short term. On the contrary, both the compulsory education and the new curriculum standard of High School English take core English literacy as the overall goal of the curriculum, including language competence, cultural awareness 、 thinking quality and learning ability. The four aspects interpenetrate and develope cooperatively.
1, 语言能力是核心素养的基础要素,指学生在各种复杂的社会语境中,以听、说、读、写、看等方式理解和表达意义的能力。在感知、体验、积累、和运用语言实践活动中,逐渐形成英语语言意识和语感,认识英语和汉语的异同,进行有意义的沟通和交流。Langua
ge compentence is the basic element of core literacy which refers to students' ability to understand and express meanings by listening, speaking, reading, writing and viewing in a variety of complex social contexts.
actively是什么意思中文2, 文化意识是核心素养的价值体现,指学生对中外文化的理解和优秀文化的鉴赏,是学生在全球化背景下表现出的跨文化认知、态度和行为取向。文化意识的培养有助于学生增强家国情怀,坚持文化自信,树立人类命运共同体意识,成为有文明素养和社会责任感的人。Cultural awareness is the embodiment of the value of core literacy. It refers to students' understanding of Chinese and foreign cultures and appreciation of execellent cultures. It is also students' recgnition, attitude and behaviour orientation.
3, 思维品质指学生的思维个性特征,反映学生在理解、分析、比较、推断、批判、评价、创新等方面的层次和水平。思维品质的提升有助于学生学会发现问题、分析问题和解决问题,对事物做出正确的价值判断。逐步发展逻辑思维、辩证思维、批判思维和创新思维。Thinking quality refers to the individual characteristics of students' thinking, reflecting students'
gradation and levels in understanding, analysis, comparison, inference, criticism,evaluation, inovation and other aspects. The improvement of thinking quality helps students learn to find, analyze and solve problems, and make correct value judgement on things , and gradually develop logical thinking, dialectical thinking, critical thinking and innovative thinking.
4, 学习能力指学生积极运用和主动调适英语学习策略、拓展英语学习渠道、努力提升英语学习效率的意识和能力。学习能力的发展有助于学生掌握科学的英语学习方法;养成良好的学习习惯和终身学习习惯;学会自我管理,及时反思和评价学习进程,提高学习效率,做到乐学善学。Learning ability refers to students' awareness and ability to actively apply and adjust learning strategies, expand English learning chanels and strive to improve English learning efficiency.
