Go straight on 教学设计
一、指导思想及理论依据:
英语学习已经进入了素养时代。素养时代下强调通过语篇来发展学生的语言能力、学习能力、思维品质和文化品格,即Learn through the language, 所以语言的学习应放在语篇下进行,而不是孤立学习词汇、句型及语法。
语言是交流的工具,学生通过语言的学习,能够在不同的场合下使用得体的语言进行表达和交流,即Learn to use the language. 所以英语学习应联系学生的实际生活和已有的生活经验,将学生的学习与生活有机连接起来。
二、教材分析:
本课是外研社三起点第三册第一模块的第一单元。模块话题是“Sam和Amy发现一只迷路的小狗,并根据小狗佩戴的铭牌把小狗送回家的事情”。本模块承接三年级下册内容,通过Sam、Amy和热心老爷爷的对话学习用英语问路和指路的日常用语。教师要充分利用本模块的内容,通过巩固,整合,强化,使全体学生能够用英语指路、问路。
学生对用英语问路和指路非常感兴趣也对本课也较感兴趣。本课的重点词汇有:turn, left, right,live,street, supermarket, beside,cinema以及You’re welcome。本课的重点语用知识为用Excuse me. Where’s ...? Turn left. Turn right. Go straight on. It’s next to ... It’s beside the ...来问路和回答。学生在三年级上学期第八模块和下学期第八模块都接触过Where’s句型,所以这一句型难度不大。通过本课的学习,提高学生在日常生活中运用英语问路、指路进行口语交际的能力。
三、学情分析:
本课的教学对象为四年级小学生,他们大都处于十到十一岁的年龄,具备一年多的英语学习经历,具有一定的知识储备。小学生生性活泼好动,模仿能力强,自主能力也较强。针对学生的性格特点,在进行教学设计时,以突出英语学习的趣味性为主,在教学设计中我设计了学生喜欢的游戏、韵律、歌谣等并配上了相应的动作,从而在提高学生学习积极性的基础上,培养他们运用英语进行口语交际的能力,让学生体会英语学习的乐趣。
四、教学目标:
go2map地图北京1. 90%的同学能够在图片的帮助下听懂、会说能够认读单词turn, left, right,live,street, supermarket, beside,cinema等;
2. 80%的同学能听懂、跟读课文,并能根据课文录音回答相关问题;
3. 70%的同学能理解句型“Excuse me. Where’s ...? Turn left. Turn right. Go straight on. It’s next to ... It’s beside the ...”的含义,知道该句型的语用环境;能够运用该句型问路及回答;
4. 全体同学通过本节课的学习能够感受英语学习的乐趣,感于开口说英语,体会与他人合作的快乐,并能喜欢上各个课程。
教学重难点:
能理解句型“Excuse me. Where’s ...? Turn left. Turn right. Go straight on. It’s next to ... It’s beside the ...”的含义,知道该句型的语用环境;能够运用该句型问路及回答。

Step 1: Warming up
1. Greetings.
T: Are you happy today? Great! I am happy too. And when I am happy, I sing a song. Do you want to sing with me?
Ss: Yes!
T: Look! It’s the Please stand up song.

(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,提高学生学习的积极性,同时本首歌也与最后编的“新词旧调”相
呼应。指向教学目标4)
Step 2: Leading in
Free talk
T: You are all good singers. Thanks for your singing. As a reward, I’d like to show you a picture. Look! Who’s this?
Ss: It’s you!
T: Yes, it’s me. What’s this place?
Ss: 天安门。
T: Yes, it’s the Tian’anmen Square. It’s in Beijing. Beijing is very beautiful. Do you want to visit Beijing someday?
Ss: Yes.
T: When I was in Beijing. I met an American girl. She asked me the way. And I told her in English. Am I the best? When you visit Beijing and are happen to be asked. Do you want to help them? Today we’ll learn something about ask the way.
(设计意图:通过Free talk并展示教师在天安门的照片,拉近与学生的距离,激发学生兴趣,引出本课主题并活跃气氛。指向教学目标4)
Step 3: Presentation
1. New words learning
(出示turn left, turn right,live at, street, supermarket, beside,cinema的图片,用自然拼读法学习单词。指向目标1、4)
2. Chant and do
Left, left. Turn left.
Right, right. Turn right.
Straight, straight. Go straight on.
(设计意图:学习过程中用韵律诗加动作来强化对重点词组turn left/right, go straight on的记忆,指向目标1、4)
3. Ask and answer
T: When we ask the way. We should be polite. So we can say “Excuse me. Where’s ... , please?” Now, let’s practise.
A: Excuse me. Where’s …,please?
B: Go straight on.
Turn left.
Turn right.
(根据黑板上的地图练习以上对话。第一组,老师当A,所有同学当B,第二组,老师当A,
一位同学当B,之后几组练习都是两位同学分别当AB,练习问路指路。设计意图:在真实情境中练习对话,加深学生对该句型语用环境的理解。指向目标1、3、4)
Step 4: Dealing with the text
1. Listening prediction
T: You can’t go to Beijing and help the foreigners now. But you can help the ones around us. Look. Here’s a dog. He’s crying. Why?
Ss: 它可能迷路了。
T:Yes. He’s lost. Do you want to help him? If you want to help him. You have to do the two challenges.
2. Listen and choose---Challenge 1
