1.让学生思考2a中的两个问题,并和同伴谈谈这件事及自己的感受。
2.教师可以先谈谈自己所犯的错误及感受以作为范例,然后邀请学生分享自己的事情。
3.让学生观察2b中的图片,预测故事的内容。
4.让学生快速阅读2b中的文章,完成文章后面的排序题,并核对答案。
5.让学生再细读一遍文章,回答2c中的问题。然后全班讨论并核对答案。
6.教师和学生一起查看并讨论教材第86页蓝框中的阅读技巧,然后解释习语和短语对阅读的重要性。
7.让学生浏览2d的句子,理解其意思,然后从文中出能替代画线部分的习语或短语。
8.将学生分为三人一组,分别担任旁白、爸爸和彼得的角,练习表演该故事,然后邀请两组学生当堂表演该故事。

(1)What's wrong,son?
What's wrong是常用口语,其后接名词或代词时,需加介词with。其主要用法有:询问对方有什么问题或烦心的事时,意为怎么啦/出什么事了?”询问某物出了什么毛病时,意为“……怎么了/出什么毛病了?表示不了解别人的观点或想法时,意为“……有什么不好?用于提出邀请或建议时,意为为什么不……【拓展】与其意思相近的句子还有:What's the matter/trouble? /What's up?/ What happened?
(2)Ten minutes later,Peter heard his father knocking on his bedroom door.
hear sb.doing sth.听见某人正在做某事。knocking在这里作hear的宾补。【拓展】类似用法的短语还有:see/watch/findweight的用法及短语/notice sb.doing sth.看见/发现/注意到某人正在做某事。
