形容词/副词比较级精讲精练
Part1考点梳理
一、大多数形容词和副词有比较级和最高级的变化，即原级、比较级和
最高级，用来表示事物的等级差别。比较级用于两者之间的比较，本单
元重点讲解比较级的变化及句型。
（一）比较级变化规则
A.形容词变比较级的规则变化
规则原级比较级一般情况下在单词结尾加-er tall taller 以不发音的e结尾的单音节词只加-r nice nicer
以一个辅音字母结尾的闭音节单音节词，双写结尾的辅音字母，再加-er big

部分双音节词和多音节词在前面加more interesting
beautiful

B.不规则变化
原级比较级
good/well better更好
bad/badly worse更坏
many/much more更多

far farther(表示距离)更远

old older(表示新旧或年龄)更老/更旧
elder(表示兄弟妹之间的长幼关系)elder brother哥哥【注】  1.副词的比较级规则和形容词比较级构成规则一样
2.一些词本身没有比较级如：right,wrong,full,empty,dead等。
（二）句型总结
A.形容词原级句型
①as形容词/副词原形+as像…一样Tim is as tall as Tom.
not as(so)+形容词/副词原形+as“和…不一样”Tim isn’t as/so tall as Tom.
②…too+形容词原形+to do sth.太...而不能…He is too young to go to school.
③形容词原级+enough to do sth.足够…可以….He is old enough to go to school.
B.形容词比较级句型
①A+be+比较级+than+B.This box is bigger than that one.
②在两者之间选择“哪一个更……”时，用句型“Which/Who is+比较级,... or...?”。
如：Which sweater is cheaper,the red one or the yellow one?
③比较级与of the two/of the twins连用时，比较级前加the Lucy is the taller of the two.
④“the+比较级，the+比较级”“越……，越……”
The more you eat,the fatter you will become.你吃的越多就会越胖。
⑤比较级+and+比较级越来越……”
多音节词和部分双音节词用“more and more+形容词原级”。
We should make our country more and more beautiful.
⑥形容词比较级前可以用下列词修饰：much,a little,far,a bit,a lot,even,far等。如：It's much colder today than yesterday.
