1. Every Thursday afternoon there is a music party in our school. This afternoon, we had a party in the playground. Miss Wang sang some English songs for us. But Mr White, our English teacher, sang a Chinese song “Happy New Year”. Our class Pop Group played some music. It was very loud. Alice played the guitar.  Ben played the triangle. We all had a good time.
We like the loud music very much. But our teachers don’t.

Say after me, Stupid bird.” Dotty looks at Alice and Says, ”Stupid girl.”
5. A Chinese student is on his holiday in London. He knows a little English. He can’t speak English very well.
  Yesterday he went to a restaurant. He wanted to have some eggs, but he couldn’t say the
English word “Egg”. He looked around the restaurant and saw a picture of a hen. He showed it to the waiter.
  “What do you call its children?” he asked.
  “Chicks, sir.”
  “And where do chicks come from?”
  “Eggs, sir”
  “Very well,” said the Chinese student. “Bring me two eggs and a cup of tea, please.”
