摘要:PURPOSE: To heighten the heat radiation rate of a metal-made X-ray tube anode, and simultaneously enhance the characteristics and action of an oxide layer by adding aluminum oxide of specified percentage by weight to normally applied conventional metal oxide having Ti and Zr. CONSTITUTION: Aluminum oxide of 1 to 20 percentage by weight, particularly the aluminum oxide of 4 to 7 percentage by weight is added to a metal oxide layer made of Ti and Zr. Generally, an X-ray tube anode is made of molybdenum alloy to which 5 percentage by weigh of tungsten is added, and a W-Re layer is provided in a focus path range, but here an oxide layer is provided by this method on an anode surface in order to heighten a heat radiation rate. That is, ultimately the sintered and mechanically deformed X-ray tube anode is cleaning treated by a sand blast method, and the surface-roughened anode surface is uniformly coated with oxide powder by a plasma-spraying method. Thereby, even if a rotary anode is used for a high vacuum X-ray tube, no electric spark occurs.
