摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent an erroneous moving vector from being detected by providing a moving vector detection section, a correlation sort circuit, a moving vector discrimination section, a moving vector - distance conversion circuit, a sort data discrimination circuit and a moving vector discrimination section to the detector. CONSTITUTION:Correlation values sorted in the higher order and their relevant deviations are obtained by a correlation sort circuit 13. The deviation data is converted into a distance from the deviation with a highest deviation by a deviation - distance converter 14, and the correlation is normalized by the deviation at the highest correlation at a correlation normalized circuit 16. A sort data discrimination section A15 discriminates the presence of the data by using the correlation and the distance and outputs valid/invalid information 1. A correlation validity discrimination circuit 9 discriminates whether or not the moving vector is valid depending on the correlation and outputs valid information 2. The discrimination circuit 10 collates the valid information sets 1,2 to decide the entire moving vector from the moving vector corresponding to the split area discriminated to be valid.
