摘要：PURPOSE:To prevent error data from being read by applying rewriting to data reproduced from a recording medium in such a way that it is not correctable at error correction just before the said data is written on a storage device. CONSTITUTION:Information data is read from the storage device 2 at the start of a series of reproduction, a parity is generated by a parity generation circuit 4 and the data is corrected by an operation circuit 6 to convert the parity into an incorrectable parity and the result is written on the storage device 2. Then the data reproduced from a recording data reproducing device 3 is written on the storage device 2. The data read by the storage device 2 is subjected to error correction by an error correction circuit 5 and written again on the storage device. In this case, when there are some incorrectable blocks by the error correction, it is judged that the data in the storage device is invalid. When the data in the storage device 2 is valid finally, the information data is read from the storage device 2 and fed to an information data generation/read section 1.
