1.①②③句是倍数表达的三种常见形式，即：倍数＋as_..._as；倍数＋比较级＋than；倍数＋the＋性质名词＋of_...。
2．④⑤句是比较级的两种特殊用法：the more ..., the more ...越……就越……；more and more ...越来越……。
3．由第⑥⑧句知，比较级前可用much,_even,_still,_a_great_deal等修饰。
4．⑦句表示否定词和比较级连用可表达最高级含义。
5．通过⑧句可知，在进行比较时，比较的对象必须一致。

倍数的表达法
1．倍数＋as＋形容词或副词的原级＋as ...
The building is four times as large as that one.
这座大楼是那座大楼的四倍大。
2．倍数＋形容词或副词的比较级＋than ...
Their garden is three times bigger than ours.
他们的花园是我们的四倍大。
3．倍数＋the＋性质名词(size，height，depth，length，width)＋of ...
The hill is eight times the height of the small one.
这座山是那座小山的八倍高。
4．倍数＋what从句
The rainfall this year is twice what it was last year.
今年降雨量是去年的两倍。
5．倍数＋that of ...
In our county now the grain output is six times that of before liberation.

语法点二
形容词或副词的比较级
1．基本用法
(1)原级比较：“... as＋形容词/副词原级＋as ...”表示“和……一样”，否定式为“... not as/so＋原级＋as ...”
He is as careful as I.
他和我一样细心
He doesn't ran as/so fast as Tom.
他跑得没汤姆快。
(2)比较级：“形容词/副词比较级＋than ...”表示“比……更……”
This picture is more beautiful than that one.
这幅画比那幅漂亮。
Yao Ming is taller than Michael Jordan.
姚明比迈克尔·乔丹高。
2．特殊用法
(1)the＋比较级 ... the＋比较级 ... 表示“越……，越……”
The more we get together, the happier we will be.
我们相聚越多就越快乐。
(2)“比较级＋and＋比较级”表示“越来越……”
The girl is more and more beautiful.
这个女孩越来越漂亮了。
(3)“否定词＋比较级”表示最高级含义
How beautifully she sings! I have never heard a better voice.
她唱得多好啊！我从未听过她这么好的声音。
(4)“the＋形容词/副词比较级＋of ...”表示“两者之中比较……的一个”
This is the bigger of the two rooms.
这个房间是两个中比较大的一个。
(5)more than ... can ...“……是某人所不能……的”
The beauty of Hangzhou is more than I can describe.
杭州之美是我所不能描述的。
(6)A is less＋原级＋than B“A在某一方面不如B”
She speaks less loud than her mother.
她不如她妈妈说话声音大。

语法点三
比较级的修饰语
在形容词比较级前可以用a bit, a little, rather, much, any (用于疑问句或否定句中), far, by far, a lot, a great deal, greatly (……得多), still, even (更加……)等副词来修饰。还可以用表示倍数的词或度量名词作修饰语。
He did much better than I in English.
他英语学得比我好多了。
He is taller by far than his brother.
他比他哥哥高多了。(注意by far的不同位置)
