《可数名词变复数的变化规则》导学案
名词在英语学习中是非常重要的，它分为可数名词和不可数名词。不可数名词可以简单地理解为无法用数计算的名词，比如肉类meat、chicken等,液体water，juice，orange，milklesson复数等。可数名词分单数和复数，单数常和a, an, the冠词连用，如 a dog, an apple, 但是可数名词变复数是同学们在学习时接触过的语法现象，也是比较难以掌握的，同时也是每次考试涉及到的重要知识点，本节课我们一起总结可数名词变复数的规则。
一、名词复数的规则变化
1) 一般的名词在词尾加-S　
students, apples, bags, trees, books, brothers. 
2) 以s、x、sh、ch结尾的名词加-es
glasses, boxes, brushes, matches.
3) 以辅音字母加y结尾的名词，变y为i加es
cities, babies, cherries，countries
4) 以f或fe结尾的名词，多数变f为v加es
half---halves  knife---knives　leaf---leaves  wolf---wolves
wife---wives  life---lives    thief---thieves；
5) 以o结尾的名词，有些加es
Negroes, heroes, tomatoes, potatoes（黑人英雄爱吃土豆和西红柿），
其它加s: radios, zoos, pianos, photos,
二、名词复数的不规则变化
1)改变内部的元音字母：
foot→ feet, tooth→ teeth, mouse→ mice，man→ men, woman→ women
2)单复数同形：
sheep→ sheep, deer→ deer, Chinese→ Chinese,
3）加ren
child→ children
3）集体名词， people ,class, police 等本身就是复数
三、复数的发音
一般情况 加 -s 清辅音后读/s/ map-maps
浊辅音和元音后读 /z/ bag-bags /car-cars
以s, sh, ch, x等结尾 加 -es 读 /iz/ bus-buses/ watch-watches
以ce, se, ze,等结尾 加 -s 读 /iz/ license-licenses
以辅音字母+y结尾 变y 为i再加es 读 /z/ baby---babie
