The story takes place in the future, when the earth has been attacked, the fleet has to choose some gifted children to train them, makes them able to defend the earth. Though Ender’s family has already had two talented kids,the brother is too cruel and the sister is too gentle, so the fleet gave them the right to give birth to another kid, that is Ender. Ender is sent to the “Battle School”,although he is the smartest boy of those kids,he try not to show himself.Ender, the name means the one who ends the war.Actually he did so, he used his brain to survive in such cruel environment.At last, Ender used the new weapon which can destroy all the things to end the war,to destroy the alien planet, ironically, Ender took that action because he thought that was a game.
I think Ender is isolate and lonely, in his family, he is the ignored one.His brother hates him, calls him the Third, and plays fun of him, even wants to kill him. Luckily, his sister,who tries her best to protect Ender, loves him forever.Ender is an embarrassing existence in his family,tgenre
hey think he is an unnecessary one.When Ender was taken away,the only one he missed was his sister.Frankly speaking, I do not think Ender should take the responsibility for kill the other planet, even he does not know the truth at that time, which should be the adult’s duty to do so.
