摘要：PURPOSE:To work a sliding surface curved in concave shape by forming one of the pulleys of a sanding paper in a platen with shape corresponding to the flexed surface of a material to be worked in the sander executing sliding work to the flexed surface of furniture, etc. CONSTITUTION:A driving pulley 5, the platen 6 and a tension pulley 7 are mounted to a base 4 and the endless beltlike sanding paper 8 is laid to these three parts (5, 6, 7), thus forming a sanding unit 1. The sanding unit 1 is movably mounted to a supporting frame, and the platen 6 is used as the pulley shaped in conformity with the form of the sliding surface of the material to be worked, the sanding paper 8 is curved in the manner of the shape of the outer surface of the platen 6 while employing the platen 6 as the point of action, and the sliding surface curved in concave form of the material to be worked and the inside measurement surface of a frame body are sliding-worked smoothly by means of the sanding paper 8.
