摘要：A cable saw for cutting blocks of stone (33,34) into slabs, having a supporting frame (1) which can move in relation to the blocks of stone, rotationally mounted deflection pulleys (7,8), and a sawing cable (9) which can move continuously on said deflection pulleys (17, 18) and is provided with two cable shafts (17,19). Both cable shafts (17,18) are arranged next to each other, perpendicular to the relative movement of the stone block (5), in order to carry out simultaneous sawing.
