篇1
The Magnificent Peach Tree
There's this really really big peach tree near my house that I just love! It's so tall, like a giant reaching up to the clouds. Its branches stretch out wide, making a huge shady spot perfect for playing or reading on a sunny day.
But you know what I like most about that amazing tree? The beautiful peach blossoms! Every spring, it gets covered in the prettiest pink flowers you've ever seen. Thousands of them blanket the whole tree, from the twisted trunk all the way out to the smallest twigs.stretch什么意思中文
When the flowers first start to bloom, it looks like someone sprinkled pink cotton candy all over the branches. The blossoms are such a soft, delicate shade of pink. As more and more flowers open up, the color gets deeper and richer, almost like a velvety rose.
The sweet perfume from all those peach blossoms is just heavenly! It's strong but not overpowering. The fragrance drifts through the whole neighborhood, letting you know that spring is finally here. I'll spend hours laying under that tree, getting lost in a book while surrounded by the intoxicating floral scent.
Watching the bees flit from flower to flower is so much fun. They're all fat and fuzzy, clumsily tumbling around as they gorge on nectar and get covered in golden pollen. Sometimes hummingbirds will zip in too, their tiny wings beating like crazy as they dart from blossom to blossom. I try to sit really still so they'll let me watch their aerial acrobatics up close.
Inevitably, some of the delicate pink petals will start fluttering down like confetti after a party. That's when Mom says it's time to rake them up before they get smushed and moldy. My friends and I jump in the piles of fallen flowers, watching the petals swirl around us in the breeze. The air is perfumed and our hands get stained slightly pink from all the blossoms.
Too soon, the last petals are swept away and the peach tree is just covered in bright green leaves. The magic has faded for another year. But I don't mind, because I know those magnificent blooms will return again next spring, transforming the humble old tree into a breathtaking vision of floral splendor. I can't wait!

The Big Peach Blossom Tree
There is a really really big tree in my grandma's backyard. It's so tall, it almost touches the sky! The trunk is thick and strong, with rough bark that feels bumpy when you run your hands along it. Grandma says this tree has been growing there for over 50 years, ever since she was a little girl like me.
Every spring, the most magical thing happens. The bare branches that looked so plain and boring all winter start to sprout little green buds. At first, they are tiny closed-up balls no bigger than my pinky nail. But then one morning, I'll wake up and peek out the window pink! Hundreds of delicate pink blossoms have bloomed overnight, covering every twig and branch in a cloud of peach-colored fluffiness.
The peach blossoms smell like heaven. Their sweet, flowery fragrance drifts in through the open windows, making the whole house smell pretty. I love to pluck a few of the soft petals and carry them around, taking little sniffs. Grandma warns me not to pick too many though, because then we won't get any yummy peaches later in the summer.
When the blossoms first appear, the tree looks like it is covered in pink popcorn from the ground. Up close though, each flower is so intricate and detailed, with ruffled petals spiraling out from the center. They seem too perfect to be real! I've tried drawing them in art class, but my scribbly colored pencils can never quite capture their delicate beauty.
Sitting under the peach tree's canopy of blossoms is my favorite spot for reading, daydre
aming, or playing make-believe games. The petals flutter down around me like pink snow, collecting in my hair and on the pages of my book. I imagine I'm a princess waiting in my flower tower for a handsome prince to come and rescue me. Or a fairy getting showered in pollen while I prepare a magical spell.
Too soon, the blossoms start to wither and fall more quickly until the tree is once again bare. But I don't mind, because I know those flowers were just the first pretty step towards another wonderful summer bounty - bushels of juicy, fuzzy peaches that will soon weigh down the sturdy branches with their sweet weight. The peach tree brings a different kind of joy with each passing season.
