2021 高考英语乙卷中熟词生义的总结
在六月份的英语考题中阅读第一题多数班级答对人数
都只有  5 人左右，主要原因就是free 一词的熟词生义问题，
对熟词生义记忆和理解的欠缺，是困扰很多学生英语成绩提
高的一大障碍。
基于此，我么要充分认识对熟词生义的学习和应用的训
练。以下是今年全国高考英语乙卷所考查的熟词生义的词。
1. pour 熟义：v. 使( 液体) 连续流出；倾倒
[ 阅读A] People have been pouring into stadiums
since the days of ancient Greece. v. 不断涌向，涌现
2. inform 熟义：v. 通知，告诉
[ 阅读A ] In around 8 A.D., the Romans built the Colosseum, which remains the world  ’s  best  known stadium and continues to  inform contemporary design. v. 对⋯⋯. 有影响
3. ride 熟义：v. 骑马
[ 七选五]I rode  the bus with these crazy people who were laughing at silly jokes in the back. v. 乘坐
4. weight 熟义：n. 重量
[ 七选五]He or she is the person who is feeling the weight of that awkwardness the most. n. 重担，压力
5. remove 熟义：v. 移开，免职
[ 七选五]If you are the host, you can ask them to
help you in the kitchen with something and just remove
them from the situation. . v. 使..... 离开
6. grade 熟义：n. 分数，年级
[ 完型填空]And it came to me then how much easier
it would be if we had a range of words that express
different grades of gratitude. n. 程度，等级
7. note 熟义：n 笔记, 便条
[ 完型填空]When she recorded one nurse, she tried
to press a five- pound note into her hand. n. 纸币，钞票
8. given 熟义：prep.考虑到；鉴于
pouring[ 完型填空]I take that as a given. n. 基本事实
9. extra 熟义：adj. 额外的
[ 完型填空]but styling hair is an extra and should
be rewarded. n. 额外的事物
高考中，阅读和完型填空中熟词生义的现象很多，往往
也是学生易错的地方, 在此部分的教学中, 善于在平时教学
对熟词生义的发现, 善于去引导学生记忆, 善于帮助学生对熟词生义的巩固, 从而让学生考试中在熟词生义上不失分。
