1 planning- action plan
1.1 Introduction
As an investment services manager with the Cadogan Bank plc, I would responsible to well-to-do client by providing to their savings, borrowing and personal insurance needs.
Nowadays, as the manager of the bank’ Western Branch. I will provide the services for Alexander Flynn and his wife. I will base on their needs and requests formulate a project to them.
The project would be separate into three parts: Action Plan, Development and Evaluation.

The first part of the project is Action planning. Action Plan aims at defines a strategy for carrying out the project and set out a timescale for project.
The second part of the project is developing. Development aims at analyze the couples’ finance situation and find out their finance needs then provide a criteria on which to base the
decision to select a range of the providers who can provide relevant products and services for the given project. At last compare the each of the finance product to suggest the most one be suit for their situation.
The third part of the project is evaluation. Evaluation mainly aim at discusses the methods that were used during research period and how the candidate handles problems in this time, it also need considers any variations and why these arose and evaluate the effectiveness of the decision-making process and compares the actual process with the original proposals set out in the action plan.
1.2 likely resources to be used
To collect the information, there are two ways to research the resources. It is necessary and important to use the varieties of resource and appropriate methods to gather data to support the project.
Primary research: To support the purpose of the project, primary research is vital as well. T
he individual in-depth interviews using a questionnaire to gather the population information will fit the purpose well. For example: face-to-face talk, interview, on-the-spot and investigation.
In Depth Interview
I will ask the manager of HSBC and discuss the financial product what the best for Alexander’ family, the suggestions of manager will direct help me to provide the services to my customer. But, it is an expensive and complicated work.
Telephone Survey
By making a telephone call to the Business Manager of Insurance Company, they would direct collect the important information related to various providers of protection products.
Brochure
By watching the brochure of Barclays Bank, I could collect the important information related to various providers of mortgage products.
Secondary: text books, media, mail shot, brochures, internet.
Internet
The desk research collects source from the websites rather than directly from the population, and is free which is easier to collect as well.
Information has been sourced from electronic newspapers and magazines, trade journals, and white papers, on-line library, commercial research companies, and internal research from the CMB’s own archives of existing such as annual report etc. monitoring the bank industry and CMB news and developments.
1.3 strategies for carrying out report.
1). Firstly
Analyzing the couples’ situation carefully Gather main information from the family income states, family debt positions, the necessity for taking protection.
(2). Second step
Analyzing the financial position and proceeding analysis of the family’s information
(3). Third step
Identify the family financial need (saving need, mortgage need and insurance need). In the future, I would provide an accurate identification of their financial need according to the actually financial situation
(4). Fourth step
In a brief direction, I would come up with some finance products which are fit for the family. Some details information would be provide in the last several parts.
(5). Five step
Find and compare likely financial products. I would interview the insurance company manager and search in the internet to find out the right products and gain the useful inform
ation from books. I would give the best suggestion as soon as possible.
