Title: Emergency First Aid: Saving Lives through Swift Action.
    Introduction:
In today's unpredictable world, emergencies can strike at any moment, leaving us with no time to react. Therefore, it's crucial to be prepared with the knowledge and skills of basic first aid. This lesson aims to equip students with the essential first aid techniques to respond quickly and effectively in various emergency situations.
    Objectives:
    1. To understand the importance of first aid in emergency situations.
    2. To identify common emergency situations and the appropriate first aid measures.
    3. To learn practical skills in basic first aid, including CPR, wound dressing, and treating burns.
    4. To develop confidence in applying first aid techniques in real-life situations.
    Materials Used:
    1. First Aid Manual.
    2. CPR Training Kit.
    3. Dummy (for CPR practice)。
    4. Bandages, gauze, adhesive tape, antiseptic cream.
    5. Burns kit (including cool water, sterile gauze, and pain relief medication)。
    Procedure:
Step 1: Introduction to First Aid.
Begin by discussing the importance of first aid in saving lives. Explain that prompt and correct first aid can significantly reduce the severity of injuries and improve survival rates.
Step 2: Types of Emergencies and First Aid Measures.
Present a list of common emergency situations, such as:
    Cardiac arrest.
    Bleeding wounds.
    Burns.
    Broken bones.
    Choking.
For each situation, explain the appropriate first aid measures to take. Emphasize the need to assess the situation safely before intervening.
Step 3: Basic First Aid Skills.
Divide the class into smaller groups and rotate through stations where they can practice
the following skills:
    Station 1: CPR.
Using the CPR training kit and dummy, demonstrate the correct steps of CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). Let students practice on the dummy under supervision to ensure correct technique.
    Station 2: Wound Dressing.
Show students how to clean a wound using antiseptic cream and dress it appropriately with gauze and adhesive tape. Let them practice on mock wounds.
    Station 3: Treating Burns.
Explain the correct method of treating burns, including running cool water over the affected area, covering the burn with sterile gauze, and administering pain relief medication if necessary. Let students practice this skill using the burns kit.
