二、Teaching aims:
(1)Ability aims:
1.Be able to say,listen,read and write the letters:S,T,U,V and words ,teacher and student.
2. Be able to recognize the words about “Read and Write”.
(2)Knowledge aims:
1. To improve their knowledge about “story time”.
2. Enable the sts to use the sentence: Let me help you!
(3)情感目标:
1. To guide the sts to help each other when your friends need your help.
2. Be able to know the importance about cooperation.
三、Key points:
1. The correct handwriting of the letters:S,T,U,V and words ,teacher and student.
2. To guide the sts to help each other when your friends need your help.
四、Difficult points:
1. The word “turnip” “Hooray” and the sentence “I can’t pull it up.”
2. The correct handwriting of “teacher” and “student”.
五、Teaching methods:
1. TPR ( 全身反应法):使学生充满乐趣。
2. The Audio-visual method & The Audio-lingual method(Practise four-skilled ability.)
3. Suggestopedia( happy teaching by using games , pictures and CAI)
4. The Cognitive method(认知法)
5. The direct method( imitate the T’s intonation and action)

七、Teaching procedures:
Step1.Warming-up & Revision
(1) Sing the song<<Good morning to you>> & letter song
(2) Recite the letters & Game : hit the card
(3) Do the quick response and review old oral English.
Step2.Presentation
(1)(设置情景)Present the four-skilles words “teacher”&”student”:Today, I have a lesson for you.I am your teacher.(teacher,teacher,teacher).You are my student.My lovely student.Are you clear?
(2)Presentation of the new letters.
1.Game: Gragon( letter gragon)
2.read and write &spelling bee game
(3)Present the new sentence(Story time):I can’t pull it up.
T: Look at the red turnip.Do you like it .(Open the CAI)
T: big,big ,big make your eyes big. It’s too big.What a big turnip. Can you pull it up?( do the action “pull”)
Sts: One,two,three,pull.
T: I can’t pull it up. Who can?
St: I can !!
T: Thanks. You’re strong. You can help me .
Sts: (显示Muscle)I’m strong. Let me help you .
(Let the sts act the story time)
Step3.Drills(meaningful drills ,mechanical drills and meaningful drills)
1. Work in pairs& one by one &group by group.(充分训练)
2. Game:bone,paper,scissor.(consolidate the new words)
3. Work with your partner.(act the story time with your friend)
4. Game: Gragon(T point to the group, which group need to stand up)

Step4.Practice
1. Boys and girls read the new words (Have a match)
2. Act the story time with your deskmate.
Step5.Summary:We need to help others when they need your help.
Step6.Consolidation
1. Game : Fast reaction.(look who can remember the new words quickly)
2. Do a survey: Who had helped you before?Who help you very often.

1.Act the story time before your parents.
