摘要：PURPOSE:To make a voltage-regulating power supply, a power converter, etc., unnecessary by conducting a voltage coarse control through a tapped transformer and AC switches and also a voltage fine adjustment through AC reactors by the reactive power control of an inverter within the range of said coarse control. CONSTITUTION:A control apparatus 8A detects the magnitude of a load voltage and active and reactive powers from a voltage detection signal by a transformer 9 and from a current detection signal by a current transformer 12, and conducts a coarse control within a range composed of four stages by selective closing of AC switches 3A, 3B, 3C in the voltage variation of a commercial power supply 1 and a voltage fine adjustment by the reactive power control of reactors 11A-11C and an inverter body 5. Said reactive power control is conducted by adjustment of the power factor of said inverter body 5 for operating said inverter body as a converter to charge a battery 6 with electricity at the same time.
