摘要：PURPOSE:To keep safety of non-utility power generating system by detecting variation of zero-phase current value and judging trip of a transmission circuit breaker, catching a phenomenon where reactive power at power receiving point does not vary even upon throw-in of a power capacitor facility, thereby detecting an unnotified power interruption and tripping a power receiving circuit breaker on the side of non-utility power generating system. CONSTITUTION:When a transmission circuit breaker 4 in an utility system is closed, zero-phase current 3Io flows through the secondary of a metering transformer 6. Upon trip of the transmission circuit breaker, ground circuit of the utility system is isolated and a very small zero-phase current 3io, composed only of ground capacitance current, flows through the secondary. Since the small zero-phase current has frequency lower than the commercial frequency, influence of the ground capacitance is minimized resulting in more accurate detection of unnotified current.
