In the present invention, in an analysis unit having a holding part that is capable of holding a reactor vessel, a light source that emits light, and a detection part that detects the light emitted from the light source, a dispensing probe is moved to the dispensing position, and light emitted from the light source is detected by the detection part while the dispensing probe is moving. The relationship between the light detected by the detection part and the position of the dispensing mechanism is stored in the storage part, and the position of the dispensing probe is adjusted on the basis of the stored relationship.
