摘要：High shear continuous feed mixer, suitable for hygienic solids dispersion, emulsification and homogenization of foodstuffs. Preferred Features: A high shear mixer has a containment housing (1) including a mixing chamber section (2), a bottom inlet (3) for material to be processed, and a top outlet (4) for discharging finished product. The unit has an internal stator (5) and a motor driven rotor (8) located generally within the upper part of the mixing chamber. Both the rotor and stator are formed with at least one cylindrical portion , which are in a concentrically engaging arrangement, and are each provided with a circular band of slotted orifices. The stator (5) has a guide tube (6) enclosing a feeder scroll (7) which is attached to a motor driven shaft (10) to which is also attached the rotor (8). The shaft is supported by bearings (11) located either within the mixing head or above it, and the functional components are generally coaxially arranged within the mixing chamber. Material is supplied via bottom inlet nozzle (3) and is picked up by the scroll (7) to be transferred to the top of the stator guide (6), where it is forced radially in series through slots (9), in a first stator cylinder (15), in a first revolving rotor cylinder (16), in a second stator cylinder (15), in a second revolving rotor cylinder (16), back into the mixing chamber. Part of this processed material is recycled through the system described, and part of the product flow passes through bores (13) into a rear
collection chamber (12), to be discharged, as final product, via outlet (4).
