摘要：PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction in reactor capacity and the higher stability of arc by setting the feedback control system time constant and the value of reactor at the specific values in the single-phase phase control arc welding power unit which provides constant current output through the use of feedback controlling. CONSTITUTION:In the phase control power unit for arc welding comprising connecting a main transformer 1, reactor 2 and rectifier elements 3 as shown in the figure (symbol 4 is an AC select switch), the inductance value of the reactor is so set that the value for the current region smaller than the boundary region becomes about 4 times or more of the value for the large current region, with 40-70A of output current as the boundary region. In addition, the feedback control system time constant is set at 0.05sec or more in the small current region and 0.01sec or less in the large current region.
