摘要：A final storage canister for spent fuel elements has a wall (21) and an elongated inner cavity for a nuclear reactor fuel element, and is closed at its upper end by a transverse lid (22). A hollow body (23) with a longitudinal axis parallel to the longitudinal extension of the canister cavity is secured on the transverse lid (22), has an open and a closed end and is arranged with its open end over a passage (22a) in the transverse lid (22). This hollow body (23) may act as a retaining body for hoisting the canister.
