Brian： I think there is something wrong with my washing machine.
Dario： Are your clothes dirty even after you have washed them?
Brian： No. I would never wear dirty clothes.
Dario： Well, why do you think that your washing machine is broken?
Brian： Because all of my favorite clothes have shrunk.
Dario： Hah! There is nothing wrong with your machine Brian.
Brian： Well, what is the problem then?
Dario： You are getting fat! Thats why your clothes dont fit anymore.
Brian： What sort of good friend are you? You are so mean to say that Im getting fat.
Dario： Sometimes the truth hurts, my pal!

Jessie： What do you do when a boy you dont really like has a crush on you?
Tina： I always say that honesty is the best policy.
Jessie： So what should I do?
Tina： Tell him that you are flattered that he is interested in you, but that you dont like him.
Jessie： But I do like him, just not in a boyfriend way.
Tina： Well tell him that. Say that you want to be friends with him, but that you dont want to be his GF.
Jessie： It will hurt his feelings to hear that.
Tina： I know - Sometimes the truth hurts,!

Todd: So, Rebecca, talking about shopping, isshopping something you enjoy doing?
托德：丽贝卡，我们来聊聊购物，你喜爱购物吗?
Rebecca: Yes, when Im in the mood for it.Definitely.
丽贝卡：喜爱，我想去购物时很喜爱。我当然喜爱。
Todd: So I guess when you talk about shopping, wetalk about clothes shopping, mainly right, so how often do you go clothes shopping?

Rebecca: Not very often. Maybe once every three months. It depends on my money. If I havethe money.

Todd: Do you usually follow the fashions? Try to stay hip, and you know?

Rebecca: I try to be but if there is something that I really, really like, I will save up and buy it.

Todd: For example what is something you saved up to buy?

Rebecca: I saved up to buy a really nice black jacket and Ive had that now for two years so itwas definitely a good purchase.

Todd: And you bought this in Australia?

Rebecca: I think I prefer the contact with sales people and seeing dresses and clothes andtrying them on. You never know if theyre going to fit or not.
