    My Friends
    I have a lot of really great friends and I'm so lucky to have them in my life. Friends are so important, especially when you're a kid. They make you laugh when you're feeling sad, they stick up for you if someone is being mean, and they're always there if you need someone to talk to or hang out with. I don't know what I'd do without my awesome group of friends!
    My best friend is a girl named Emily. We've known each other since we were tiny babies - our moms were best friends in college so we sort of grew up together. Emily is the funniest person I know. She's always cracking jokes and doing silly voices and impersonations that make me laugh so hard my stomach hurts. She's a total goofball but I love her for it.
    Emily and I do everything together - we're on the same soccer team, we're in the same class at school, we have sleepovers almost every weekend, and our families go on vacation together every summer. I can't imagine not having Emily as my best buddy. We tell each other literally everything and there's no judgment, ever. She's seen me at my worst and still loves me anyway!
    Then there's my friend group from school - there's Josh, Aisha, Jayden, and Sophia. We all met in 3rd grade and we've been inseparable ever since. Aisha is this tiny little firecracker who doesn't let her small size stop her from being heard. She's probably the bossiest one of our group but she's also a great leader and super organized. Whenever we do group projects together, Aisha always takes charge and keeps us all on task.
    Josh cracks me up because he's just the most random guy ever. You never know what's going to come out of his mouth next but it's always something hilarious. One time we were all hanging out at Jayden's house and Josh looks over at me very seriously and says "You know, camels have two humps because they used to be bikes." He had this completely stra
ight face when he said it and we all just lost it laughing so hard. Josh is the king of random weird jokes.
    Jayden is our resident computer whiz and tech expert. Any time one of us has an issue with our laptops or needs to update our gaming system firmware, Jayden is the one we call. He just gets technology in a way that the rest of us don't. He's also an awesome gamer and beats us all at things like Fortnite and Rocket League. I honestly don't know how he's so good because his hand-eye coordination doesn't seem that great in real life! Maybe he's just concentrating really hard during video games.
    Last but not least is Sophia, the sweetest girl you'll ever meet. She's kind of our mom friend - the one who's always making sure we're taking care of ourselves and not doing anything too crazy or dangerous. Sophia packs extra snacks and water bottles anytime we're going on a hike or bike ride, she reminds us to wear sunscreen, and she's the first one to notice if someone seems sad or left out. She has this big heart of gold and I'm so grateful to have her looking out for us.

We all have flaws and we all mess up sometimes, but the love is always there.
    Surrounding yourself with positive people who build you up and make you smile is so incredibly important, especially when you're young and still figuring out who you are. My friends have given me the confidence to be myself without apologies. They accept me for w

    My Best Friend
    I've known Jack since we were little kids in kindergarten. We've been best friends for as long as I can remember. Jack is kind, funny, and always there for me when I need him. He's the best friend anyone could ask for.
    Jack and I do everything together. We play basketball and video games after school. We go to the movies and grab pizza on the weekends. We even take the same classes at school so we can hangout during the day too. Whenever I'm having a bad day, Jack cheers me up. He always knows how to make me laugh.
