Middle wow, what a ride. Those three years were some of the most confusing, awkward, yet strangely amazing times of my life so far. Looking back, there were definitely aspects that made me want to pull my hair out, but also things that made those years special in their own weird way.
Let's start with the unsatisfied bits first, shall we? The academic pressure, oh man, the pressure. Teachers piled on homework like we were immortal homework-doing machines. Algebra, chemistry, sentence diagramming - it was a never-ending onslaught of mind-numbing busy work. I swear half my brain cells perished from overwork during those years.
The social scene was its own unique brand of torture too. Trying to navigate the unwritten rul
es of coolness and figuring out where you fit in the hierarchy of popularity felt like disarming a ticking bomb on a daily basis. One wrong move and *boom*, total social implosion. Yikes.

Was middle school a perfect experience? Hahaha, not even close. But it gave me a lifetime's worth of stories, lessons, and personal growth packed into just three transformative years. In the end, I wouldn't have had it any other way.
