摘要：Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, device and computer readable storage medium for UL skipping during a random access procedure.
In example embodiments, a terminal device transmits a random access request in a random access procedure to a network device. The terminal device is configured to skip uplink transmission for an uplink grant if there is no data available for the uplink transmission. In response to receiving, in the random access procedure, from the network device an uplink grant addressed to C-RNTI of the terminal device, the terminal device transmits a data unit is to the network device. In this way, the network device can know the feedback of the terminal device efficiently and the performance of the communication network can be improved.
