In order to prepare for the final exam of English in the sixth grade of Foreign Language School, I have come up with a plan to make sure that I will be fully ready for the challenge. The plan includes four main aspects: set a schedule, revise important grammar points, read extensively, and practice speaking and writing.
First of all, setting a schedule is crucial. It is important to allocate enough time for each aspect of the preparation, as well as balance the time for the other subjects, such as math, science, and Chinese. I plan to spend at least 2 hours per day on English, including both studying and practicing.sort of in order
Secondly, revising important grammar points is essential. The final exam will cover all the grammar points we have learned in the past 6 years, so it is important to review them thoroughly. I will use the textbooks, workbooks, and online resources to help me revise each grammar point and practice related exercises.
Thirdly, reading extensively is a good way to improve both vocabulary and reading comprehension skills. During my spare time, I will read different types of English materials, such as news articles, short stories, and novels. After reading, I will summarize the main ideas and new vocabulary words to consolidate my learning.
Lastly, practicing speaking and writing is crucial to prepare for the listening and writing parts of the final exam. I will practice speaking with my classmates, teachers, and even my parents. We will discuss different topics and practice various types of speeches. For writing, I will do a lot of exercises, such as writing compositions, letters, emails, and even academic essays.
By following this plan, I believe that I will be well-prepared for the final exam of English in the sixth grade of Foreign Language School. I am confident that my hard work and dedication will pay off, and I will achieve good results.
