    The story follows Greg Heffley, who is pretty much the wimpiest kid you'll ever meet. In this book, his family goes on a holiday road trip to a resort. Of course, things don't exactly go as planned because when do they ever for Greg?
    Right from the start, you know this trip is going to be a disaster. Greg's mom is determined to have a "old-fashioned family road trip" which basically means no electronics allowed. Are you kidding me? No iPad, no video games - how is a kid supposed to survive?
