Thank you! I’m XXX, This is my first time to be a timer. I’m very please to play this role. I think Timer is the most expensive people among all roles.  Because time is money!
As a timer I’m responsible for monitoring time for each session and each speaker. I will also operate the timing signal, indicating to each speaker how much time he/she left
Let me explain the timing rules and demonstrate the signal flag. 
As you see, there are three different color flags on my hand.
For the table topic’s speaker, you have total 2 minutes to deliver your speech. tabletime是什么意思During your sp
eech, if you see I raising green flag it means you have 1 minute left. Yellow flag means 30 seconds left. Red flag means that time is up.
If I ring the bell, it means you are over the extra 30s, you have to stop your speech soon
For the prepared speech’s speaker and evaluator, you have total 4~10 minutes to deliver your speech. During your speech, if you see I raising green flag it means you have 2 minutes left. Yellow flag means 1 minute left. ed flag means that time is up.

When you’re called to report by the Topicsmaster, Toastmaster or general evaluator, announce the speaker’s name and the time taken……
Wow, what a wonderful and excited evening. All of you controlled the time very well. You ca
n finish your speech within the estimated time.
AAA You took 2 minutes to deliver your speech. you controlled your time precisely.
So I just wondered you are the timer too! Congratulation!
BBB You just only took 1 minutes 50 seconds to deliver your speech so that I don’t have the opportunity to wave my flag. You still have 1 minutes more left. Maybe you have a little nervousness. Try to relax yourself in the next speech so that you can control your time well in the future. Congratulation!
CCC Your speech was so attractive so that I felt time went to so fast. You took 2 minutes and 20 seconds deliver your speech. It’s about 20 seconds timeout. One small tips I never tell others but except you. When you see the green flag on my hand, try to stop your body description and start to figure out your conclusion soon. I believed that you will become much better in the future.
DDD Your prepared speech really touched my heart and it was very interesting . I almost fo
rgot to record the time. You just only have 20 seconds left. You controlled your time very well. You are a good example for those who are going to control well their speech time. Congratulation!

目前时间控制部分的规则不同的人理解会有偏差， 我这里统一一下：
1.    每个环节都要把控
2.    Prepared speech 亮蓝表示还剩2分钟, 亮黄表示还剩1分钟, 亮红其实时间已到，但是可以继续超时30秒. 超时30秒到，按铃声
3.    Table Topic 每个人2分钟时间演讲。 亮蓝表示还剩1分钟, 亮黄表示还剩30秒, 亮红其实时间已到，但是可以继续超时10秒. 超时10秒到，按铃声
4.    其他的每个环节，大于3分钟的按照prepared speech的要求来做， 小于且等于3分钟的按照table topic来做
大于3分钟的环节为:
(1)  Today’s meeting,
(2)  Prepared speech.
(3)  Warm up
(4)  Let Guests Talk
(5)  Grammarian Report
(6)  General Evaluation
(7)  Closing Remarks
(8)  其他环节均为小于等于3分钟
 
举例：
1.    Prepared speech: 5-7分钟演讲。  那么5分钟的时候亮蓝， 6分钟的时候亮黄。 7分钟的时候亮红. 7分30秒的时候按铃声
2.    Table topic speaker: 2分钟演讲。  那么1分钟的时候亮蓝，1分 30秒的时候亮黄。 2分钟的时候亮红. 2分10秒的时候按铃声
 
3.    Today’s meeting 环节4分钟，超过了3分钟。 就按prepared speech的要求来做。 
那么2分钟的时候亮蓝，3分钟的时候亮黄。 4分钟的时候亮红. 4分30秒的时候按铃声
4.    General Evaluator:7-9分钟. 超过了3分钟。 就按prepared speech的要求来做。
那么7分钟的时候亮蓝，8分钟的时候亮黄。 9分钟的时候亮红. 9分30秒的时候按铃声
5.    其他以此类推.
