一、教材分析
Unit3 Book 5 的主题是“seasons”,“ Unit3 Spring begins from March.”是在第二单元学习了四季的情景及其相
关活动的基础上,学习每个季节所含的月份,并能运用功能结
构Which is your favorite season?
Spring/Summer/Autumn/winter. Why? Because … It is …. The trees … The flowers… The mountains … I can… There are four seasons in a year. Each season…在日常生
活中灵活自如地谈论各自喜欢的季节及原因。本单元的难点是
月份词汇及日期表达(对序数词的了解和学习)以及日期的缩
写形式。本节课以PartB中Let’s learn more 为主,学习陈
述每个季节所对应的月份。
二、学情分析
本课的教学对象是五年级学生,他们已经掌握了一定的英
语词汇,具有一定的英语学习的积极性与主动性,具备了一定
英语语言运用能力,求知欲增强。因此,在新知识传授的同时,教师要尽可能多地为学生创造良好的语言环境,给学生充足的
语言“习得”机会,让学生在学习中积极参与、大胆发言,从
而形成积极的情感态度和自主学习的能力。
三、教学目标
(一)知识目标
1、能听懂、会说并认读下列单词:New Year, each, month, first。
2、能听懂、会说并认读下列句子:1)There are four seasons in a year. 2)Each season has three months. 3)Spring begins from March. 4)Summer is from June to August.
(二)能力目标
能口头运用:1)There are four seasons in a year.
2)Each season has three months. 3)Spring begins from March. 4)Summer is from June to August. 描述每个季节所对应的月份。
(三)情感目标
为学生创设轻松、愉悦、和谐的英语课堂学习氛围,使学生在学习中敢于开口说英语,从而对英语学习产生更为浓厚的兴趣。
四、教学要点分析
(一)教学重点
1.单词:New Year, each, month, first的认读。

六、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. Chant:《Seasons》(五下 U2 4)
教师一手拿四季的英语单词卡片示意学生一起拍手说Chant,并教授单词:New Year, each, month, first。(教授单词时
尽量提供一些学过的词汇,鼓励学生自己读出来,培养学生的
拼读能力。)
Step 2 Presentation
1.Leading-in.
(1)T: There are four seasons in a year .What are they?
Ss: They are spring, summer, autumn and winter.
教师将四季的图片贴在黑板上。
(2) T: How many months are there in a year?
Ss: Twelve.
教师请一名学生将12个月份写在对应的季节旁。
(3) T: How many months are there in a season?
Ss: Three.
师鼓励并小结:Great! There are twelve months in a year. There are four seasons in a year. So each season has three months.
(4)T: Which is the first season?
S s: It’s spring.
(5) T: Which months are in spring?
Ss: March, April, May.
师鼓励并小结:You are great. Spring begins from March. Spring is from March to May.同时板书,红笔标出begin from 及from… to …
(6) T:What about summer?
T&Ss: Summer begins from June. It is from June to August.
(7) T: When does autumn begin? ( 引导学生看板书作答。)
Ss: Autumn begins from September. It is from September to November.
(8) T:What about winter?
T&Ss: Winter begins from December.
【设计意图】通过热身激发学生的学习兴趣,将学生的
视线引入课堂,同时复习旧知,为新课的学习做好铺垫。并且在学生状态最佳的时候将本节课的重点begin from 及from…to …自然而然呈现并反复操练。
2.Listen。听录音,整体感知课文。
(1)Listen and answer:
1.How many seasons are there in a year?
2.Does each season have three months?
3.When does winter begin?
4.Which month is New Year in ?
(2)Listen and follow.播放Let’s learn more 部分的录音,让学生模仿其语音语调跟读课文。
(3)引导学生在短文情景中猜一猜单词each 和begin是什么意思,并复习所学过的含有字母组合ea的单词,如:teach, teacher,温故知新,让学生牢记each 的读音。同时
板书:Each season has three months.举例、讲解、训练each 的用法:each +可数名词单数,做主语时是单三。如:Each student has an orange/egg/banana/apple.
【设计意图】通过多媒体演示的直观效果使原本枯燥的教
学变得生动有趣,通过跟录音听、说,加深对课文的理解,让
学生在轻松愉快的状态下进行学习。同时在词汇教学中培养学
生的归纳整理能力。
Step 3 Practice
(1)将学生分成四大组朗读课文,前两句和最后三句集体
朗读,而有关四个季节的句子则由每个组读一句。
(2)对子合作,完成下列各题:
英汉互译:
1.在一年里
2.每个季节
3.从......开始
4. 从......到......
5.一年中的第一个月
按要求完成各题:
1.season(复数)
2. have(单三)
4. begin(单三)

【设计意图】通过小组合作,兵教兵,兵练兵,互助合作,提高学习效率。

【设计意图】通过展示,检查学生对文本内容及重点句型的
掌握情况,同时充分调动学生的学习积极性与主动性。

教师针对板书,引导学生进行归纳小结并同时口头巩固操练。
