Part 1
We have four seasons in a year. They are: spring, summer, autumn and winter.
Spring is the loveliest season in the year. In this season, flowers bloom and
birds
sing. The world is full of life. The weather is warm and the swallows begin to
come
back to live with us again. Poets describe spring as s season full of hope.
Summer is the welcomest season to schoolchildren. They have a long summer
vacation. They may go to swim and play. They can go to seaside or go camping in
the
mountains.
Autumn is a good season for picnics and games. In this season, leaves begin
to
fall and flowers begin to wither away. This is why some people say that autumn is
a
season of sadness and loneliness, but I don't think it is true. It is the
season for
harvests. The world is full of laughing and singing.
Winter is cold. In some northern countries, snow begins to fall and most
people
have to stay indoors. But in tropical countries the weather is still warm and the
people
go out of doors as usual. Winter is the season draws near the new year. When
winter
slowly passes, a new year will be born.

1. In spring, the days grow longer and warmer. The trees turn green, and
flowers
and plants begin to grow again.
2. Summer is the warmest time of year. The days are long, and it does not get
dark
until late. Everything grows well.
3. In autumn, the days begin to get shorter and colder. Plants stop flowering,
and
leaves begin to fall from the trees.
4. Winter is the coldest season. The days are short, and it gets dark very early.
There
is snow in many countries.

Part 3
  Spring is green. Do you know why? It is because when spring is here, the plants
and the trees sprout(发芽) new leaves and turn green. The flowers start to
blossom(开
花). It is so beautiful and green everywhere.
  Summer is bright. Can you guess the reason? It is because when summer arrives,
the sun is shining. For the very strong sunlight, everything is bright. How
beautiful
and bright it is!
  Autumn is golden. Why is this? It's because when autumn comes, the wind blows
through the golden trees and carries the golden leaves away, flowing slowly down
to
the ground one after another and thickly covering the ground. It is golden
everywhere.
　 　 Winter is white. Why? It's because when winter reaches us, the white
snowflakes(雪花) fly slowly down, so pure and white. The wide fields and the great
high mountains all wear white coats.
　 　Oh! The four seasons are all beautiful and charming( 迷 人的 ). I like spring,
summer, autumn and winter, but spring, the best! For spring is full of life.

  There are four seasons in a year. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter.
  When spring comes, the weather is getting warmer and warmer. The crops begin
to grow, trees turn green and flowers come out. Some animals wake up from
hibernation. It is the best season of the year.
  Summer is the hottest of all the seasons. The sunshine is much stronger. It's a
season for swimming.
