一、教学内容分析:
本单元学习的主题是校历。本课时是Pep五年级下册Unit 3的第一
课时A Let’s talk 。本部分学习的核心句型是When is the party? It’s in April.教材通过Mike和Zhang Peng对校历上四月、五月
要举行活动的讨论场景,介绍了孩子们在春天将有很多趣味性活动的情景,即四月的运动会和复活节聚会,五月的春游,让学生感知上述核心句型的语义及语用情景。
二、学情分析:
小学五年级的学生好奇心还是非常的强,活泼好动,学生的积极性比较高,参与意识比较强。
四、教学目标:
1、语言技能目标:( 95c/o以上的)学生能读懂并理解整篇对话的大意,并且能够在真实的情景中灵活的运用
句型?It’s in ...就某个活动在哪个月份举行进行问答。
2、语言知识目标:(95c/o以上的)学生能听、说、认读新词汇a few,fun things, sports meet, Easter, trip ;并能听、说、读、写句型:When is the party? It’s in April.
3、学习策略目标:学生能够继续加强小组内合作学习并能自己探究
学习。
4、情感态度目标:培养学生热爱学习、热爱学校生活、热爱春天的
美好情怀。
5、文化意识目标:了解西方复活节的文化知识。
五、教学重难点:
1、重点:能听、说、读、写句型:When is the party? It’s in April.
2、难点:能在语境中理解a few, things, sports meet, Easter, trip 的意思,并能正确发音。
六、课前准备:本节课相关的课件、教学视频及教学卡片。
七、教学步骤:
Step1. Warm-up
1.Greeting
T: Are you ready? OK. One, two, three.
Ss: A,B,C.
T:stand up, please. Good morning, class.
Ss: Good morning, Mr Li!
T: Sit down, please! Today we’re going to learn Unit 3:My school calendar .
2.Enjoy a song “What’s your favourite season?”
3. Free talk
T: Boys and girls, how many seasons are there in a year? Ss: Four.
T: What are they?
Ss: Spring, summer, fall and winter.
T:Which season do you like best?
Ss:...
T: Why?
Ss: Because I ...
(设计意图:课前欣赏和感知歌曲,不仅活跃了课堂气氛,而且让学生明确了本课学习的主题,使他们轻松进入学习状态;同时为We have a few fun things in spring.
做好铺垫。)
Step2. Presentation
1.呈现主句型“? It’s in ....”
T: I like spring best. Because we have a few fun things in spring.Follow me, we have a few fun things in spring. A few means some, fun things means
“有趣的事”。(板书) We have a few fun things in spring.Look! It’s Tree Planting Day, it means “植树节”.we can plant trees.
Next, it’s May Day.劳动节,we can clean our rooms. 以此类推,the sports meet 。Who can tell me ? When is Tree May Day? You can speak in Chinese! Ss: 3月。
T:You can say “It’s in May.”(加上5的手势) Follow me! When is May Day? It’s in May. Ask and answer.
Practice in pairs.(两组联系) “以此类推通过询问the sports meet.
引出主句型并板书“?It’s in ....”
2. Let’s try
T: We have a few fun things in spring. Mike and Zhang Peng also have a few fun things in spring, too. Now look! They are talking about the sports meet.Who will go to the sports meet next week, Zhang Peng’s or Mike’s ?Let’s listen and tick. (播放录音) Who can ?
S2: Zhang Peng’s parents.
T: Do you think so ?
Ss: Yes!
T: You are so clever!
(设计意图:由听力练习导入话题,引出sports meet 为学生作进一步的排障。)
3. Let’s talk
T: Mike and Zhang Peng will have sports meet in spring.(张贴sports meet) Now look at the picture, after the sports meet, what fun things do they have ? (课件出示问题) Watch and answer. Ss:an Easter party and a school trip。(设计意图:通过让学生读图来引入Easter party and school trip为学生排障,让学生感知对话的内容。)
T: Do you know Easter? Children can meet Easter Bunny and Easter eggs . They have an Easter party on Easter. They look for eggs and roll eggs, at last they eat eggs.

Step3. Practice
1. Listen and repeat.
T: That’s easy for you. Now open your books. Let’s listen to the dialogue. Pay
attention to the pronunciation and intonation.
2. Role play
T: It’s time for role play. Practice in pairs. You can use your body like this.分别从两组两名同学佩戴头饰到台前表演,其他同学仔细听并评价哪组同学表演的好。Which team is better?
(设计意图:通过机械操练和人物表演,巩固新知,同时让学生评价表演,增强学生的学习主动性和团体意识。)
Step4. Production
A reporter (记者)wants to know about your school calendar. Now she is making an interview with you.
Reporter: When is the sports meet in your school?
S1: It'
Reporter: When is the singing contest in your school?
S2: It'
Reporter: When is the school trip in your school?
S3: It'
Reporter: Thank you!
Ss: You are welcome!
Step5. Progress
1.情感教育:Boys and girls, we have a few fun things in spring.Yes? But remember “A year’s plan starts with spring”. We should study hard!一年之计在于春。我们应该努力学习!
2.Homework.
(1)Read the dialogue and try to remember the new words and sentences.
(2)Act the dialogue out with your partner.

小学五年级的学生好奇心还是非常的强,活泼好动,学生的积极性比较高,参与意识比较强。学生对于Mike 和Zhang Peng的趣味
性活动还是很感兴趣的,如sports meet ,school trip, Easter party, singing contest,学习这些短语比较容易。对于问句?以及答句It’s in ...就某个活动在哪个月份举行进行问答,对于学
生而言也比较简单。针对学生较强的参与意识,我设计的小记者采访的活动能促进学生的英语语言运用
能力,由于本节课是本单元的第一节课,对话中只出现April 和May两个月份,学生学习比较好掌握,对于句型的训练也很扎实。
