    My Amazing Holiday in Chongqing's Liziba
    Yay! The holidays were here and that meant no school for a whole week! My parents had a super special trip planned for us - we were going to visit the famous Liziba in Chongqing! I had heard so many cool things about this place and couldn't wait to see it with my own eyes.
    We took an early morning train from our city and after a few hours of riding on the bullet train while watching fun movies, we finally arrived in Chongqing. The first thing I noticed was how different it looked from our hometown. The buildings were tall and modern, and there were lots of busy streets and people everywhere!
    After dropping our bags at the hotel, we went straight to Liziba. I could hardly contain my e
xcitement when I saw the huge theme park from the entrance! There were gigantic roller coasters, cool water rides, and tons of other attractions. My eyes stretched as wide as dinner plates trying to take it all in.
    The first ride we went on was this huge pirate ship that swung back and forth really high up in the air. I screamed so loudly when we went down that my throat hurt a little! But it

    My Awesome Trip to Liziba
    Wow, let me tell you about the most amazing place I went to during my winter vacation – Liziba in Chongqing! It's this super cool town built right on the banks of the Yangtze River. My family and I had such an incredible time there.
    The first thing I have to mention is how we got there. We took a super long train ride, like 8 hours! I was a little worried it would be boring, but my mom packed all these fun games and snacks. We played cards, did puzzles, and I even got to watch a movie on my tablet. T
he coolest part was when the train went through a couple of long tunnels – it got so dark and a little spooky! But I wasn't scared because my big brother was sitting right next to me.
    When we finally arrived in Chongqing, we took a bus to Liziba. As we got closer, I could see these crazy tall peaks of rock jutting out of the ground. Our tour guide told us they are called "yuan" and are formed by erosion over millions of years. He said Liziba has over 300 of them! It looked like something straight out of a fantasy movie. I couldn't wait to explore.
    Our hotel was nestled right between the peaks, with the most amazing view of the river. Our room had a balcony where we could watch the boats cruising by. The first evening, we took a walk along the river and stumbled upon this lively area with street food vendors. Everything smelled so good – smoky grilled meats, savory dumplings, sugary candies. My parents let me pick out whatever treats I wanted. I got this crazy looking snack called "tanguanyin" which was sweet potatoes on a stick, covered in a sticky glaze. So good!
    The next day, we went hiking up to one of the taller peaks called Xianren Yuan or "Immortal Peak." It was pretty tough with all the stairs and steep paths, but the view from th
e top was worth it. You could see the river winding through the gorges and all the pointy peaks as far as the eye could see. Our guide told us the peak got its name from an ancient legend about an immortal who lived at the top. Pretty cool, huh?
gushing spring是什么意思    After the hike, we went on a boat cruise along the Yangtze to see the rock formations from the water. The boat took us super close to the sheer cliff faces. I felt so tiny next to those towering rocks! We even went through some narrow canyons where the cliffs were squeezing in on both sides. Our guide said the rocks can definitely fall down during storms or earthquakes since they're so old. I'm glad we went on a nice sunny day!
    One of my favorite parts was exploring the ancient village of Dachuan. It felt like stepping back in time as we wandered the narrow alleyways and saw people's homes built right into the caves and crevices of the rocks. Some of the buildings were hundreds of years old! I loved checking out all the little shops selling traditional crafts and snacks. I bought this cool wooden mask from a woodcarver who let me watch him work.
    On our last day, we took a short train ride to Fengdu, this crazy "Ghost City" filled with st
atues and temples all about the underworld. It was kind of creepy with the demon statues and bridges named things like "Nothing to be Done Bridge." But I thought all the legends and stories our guide told were super fascinating. I'd definitely want to explore more if I wasn't scared of ghosts!
