摘要：PURPOSE:To obtain a character broadcast receiver which is free from the queuing time, by storing the character broadcast signal transmitted by means of a vertical flyback time of a TV signal in at least two or more field periods and then extracting the character broadcast signal by a program designating circuit for display. CONSTITUTION:The TV signal supplied via a transmission line 21 is applied to a signal converting circuit 5, a storing address generating circuit 4 and a synchronous separating circuit 2, and only the charater broadcast contained in a vertical flyback time is stored in a buffer memory 1. At the same time, the output of a signal superposition period pulse generating circuit 3 is transmitted to a CPU9 and stored successively into a data memory 8 from the memory 1 by the procedure of an ROM7 for at least two or more field periods. A desired program is transmitted to the CPU9 via a keyboard 15, and the CPU9 reads the memory 8 to transfer and store only the coincident program to a display memory 11 and then to be displayed to a display device 13. In such a way, the program to be stored in the memory 8 is previously selected through the keyboard 15. Thus the capacity of the memory 8 can be reduced.
