摘要:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently perform realization at a low cost by small circuit constitution by directly detecting a specified color by using color difference signals. SOLUTION: The hue of chroma is divided on a plane where the hue is expressed by the color difference signals (R-Y and B-Y) and whether or not it is in a certain specified
hue is discriminated. The respective boundary lines of the discrimination areas (1)-(16) of the hue on the R-Y and B-Y plane are expressed by a formula K=α×(B-Y)+β(R-Y) on condition that it is the integer of the range of α=0-4 and β=-4-4. From the
positive/negative of the value of the expression, which side of the respective boundary lines the hue is on is discriminated. That is, in order to detect whether or not the chroma is in the certain hue, the two coefficient sets of the expression to be the boundary line of the hue are selected and discrimination is made by checking the positive/negative of the two expressions. When detection is performed by this method, since the need of tentatively converting the color difference signals (R-Y and B-Y) to RGB signals and processing them is eliminated, a chroma key is realized by the small circuit constitution.
