摘要：PURPOSE:To provide a leaf spring which endures a pressure given at fitting and a torsional moment and has high rigidity by putting a pre-pregmat material which is made by trimming a bundle of reinforced fiber to have a specific length, bonding it to harden and impregnating it with a certain resin, in the middle of or at the external side of a lamination. CONSTITUTION:A mat layer 5 made of glass fiber is interposed in the middle of a lamination of a FRP leaf spring 1 having a little distorsion therein. As a core, the mat layer makes a stress evenly scattered around. The mat layer 5 is build up in the pre-pregmat state by bundling many single fibers using glass fiber as a raw material, of which each is approximately 7-13mu in diameter, as shown by A in the drawing, cutting them approximately 10-50mm., hardening them with bond or the like, as shown by B, impregnating them with thermosetting resin and then half-dried. Carbon cloth layers 6 made of carbon fiber and UDPP layers 7 made of carbon fiber are piled on and under said mat layer 5 and glass cloth layers 8 made of glass fiber are brought to both the upmost sides, so that a laminated structure may be completed.
