摘要：A fiber-reinforced composite spring including a spring wire that includes a core having a plurality of fiber tows that are twisted about a longitudinal axis to create a contoured core surface, and an outer layer of resin that is substantially devoid of said fiber tows, wherein said outer layer has a thickness that varies along the longitudinal axis to form a generally uniform outer surface about the core.
