摘要：PURPOSE:To produce an all-FRP spring excellent in strength against cracking, etc. tat may be obtained to have various shapes, by combining a sleevelike fiber material and a rodlike fiber material into an FRP spring stock impregnating the FRP spring stock with a thermosetting resin, and setting and molding the FRP spring stock into a prescribed shape. CONSTITUTION:A sleevelike fiber material 1 and a rodlike fiber material 2 combined into an FRP spring stock (a), and the FRP spring stock (a) is impregnated with a thermosetting resin. Then the thermosetting resin is set to mold an FRP spring (b) having a prescribed shape. The molding is effected in such a way that the FRP spring stock (a) is wound along a spiral groove 4 formed in a core 3, then a top force 5 and a bottom foce 6 abutted against the core 3, they are clamped and the setting is allowed. When the core 3, the top force 5 and the bottom force 6 are removed, the FRP spring (b) having a desired shape can be obtained. Thus all-FRP springs that are excellent in strength against cracking, etc. and have various shapes can be easily produced.
