一、遭遇危险
1.恶劣环境
The Sky is overcast with clouds. （天空）
天空乌云密布。
The icy wind was howling, stinging my face.
寒风呼啸，我的脸如针刺。（狂风&寒冷）
A flash of lightning lit up the whole sky, followed by a crash of thunder.
一道闪电照亮天空，接着一声巨雷。（雷电）
Minutes later, there came a downpour/It began to rain cats and dogs，and it was violently beating aginst the window.
几分钟之后，大雨倾盆而下，大雨猛烈地打在窗户上。(暴雨)
My teeth were chattering with cold.
我的牙齿冷地直打颤。（寒冷）
The water kept rising, as if it would engulf me.
水不断上涨，仿佛要把我淹没。（洪水）
2.危险描述
The bear seemed much fiercer this time and violently pushed the fence like mad.

A thick burning smell filled the air.
空气中弥漫着浓浓的烧焦味。（火灾：危险描述）
Both of them were coughing and their eyes were stinging from the smoke, she clung to him, terrified by the leaping flames.
他们两个都在咳嗽，烟熏得他们眼睛疼，她紧紧抓住他，被熊熊的火焰吓坏了。（火灾：危险描述）
He quickly soaked his clothes, for the approaching smoke could choke them.
他迅速把衣服浸湿，因为这即将到来的烟雾可能会使他们窒息.（火灾：自救）
Suddenly, he was stuck in the mud and couldn't get out. He struggled hard but he was still trapped. He screamed for help, but all in vain.
突然，他陷到淤泥里出不来了。他拼命挣扎，但还是被困住了。他大声呼救，但都是徒劳。（落水）
He was sitting  on the ground, blood running down his face.(独立主格）
他坐在地上，血顺着脸流下来。（受伤）
It was getting dark/night was approaching，we were stuck in the middle of nowhere.
夜幕降临，我们被困在一个荒无人烟的地方。（迷路）
After a series of fruitless attempts to find a way out, we felt hungry and tired.
经过一系列寻出路的徒劳尝试后，我们感到又累又饿。
The wall caving in, and deep cracks opening up in the streets, huge buidlings collapsed sending clouds of dust into the air. （动作三连）
墙塌了下来，街道上出现了深深的裂缝，大楼倒塌，空气中扬起一片尘土。（地震）
3.情感描写: 害怕无助/紧张焦虑/筋疲力尽
I  was seized/ overcome by a strong sense of horror. I trembled all over and my palms were sweating.
我害怕极了，浑身发抖，手心都出汗了。（恐惧）
He panicked, covered his eyes with his hands and screamed loudly in fright/fear/ terror.
他惊慌失措，用手蒙住眼睛，吓得双手颤抖。（恐惧）
My brain was blank, I just want to leave this horrible place.
我大脑一片空白，只想离开这个恐怖的地方。（恐惧）
A flood of tension  overwhelmed/ swallowed/ flooded over/welled up in me, she could feel her heart racing/ pounding/ beating wildly.
她紧张极了，觉得心跳加速。（紧张焦虑）
I trembled at the thought of having to make a speech.
一想到要发表演讲，我就发抖。（紧张焦虑）
Exhausted and hungry as we were, we didn't stop. Gritting our teeth, we kept swimming.
尽管我们又累又饿，我们没有停下来，咬紧牙关继续游。（筋疲力尽）
二、出现转机
1.呼叫求助
They waved the flag and screamed for help.
他们挥舞旗帜，大声呼救。
He saw an plane flying overhead. But with no flashlights, he was invisible in the vast ocean.
他看见一架飞机从头顶飞过。但是没有手电筒，在浩瀚的海洋中是看不到他的。
2.想到办法
Suddenly, it occurred to us that we could keep to the track to guide us back.
突然想到我们可以沿着这条路回去。
At this critical moment, Elli grabbed several pieces of garlic bread and threw them over the fence. It worked.
在这个关键时刻，Elli抓起几片蒜蓉面包，扔过栅栏。这个方法起了作用。
3.出现转机
In sheer desperation, I finally caught sight of some boats with lifeguards on them heading towards us in the distance.
在极度的绝望中，我终于看到远处有几艘载有救生员的船朝我们驶来。
After what seemed a centuty, a light spot appeared in the distance! We waved our hands and yelled out for help.
过了很长时间，远处出现了一个光点，我们挥着手，大声呼救。
When we were at a loss what to do next, there were shouts rising from the distance.
当我们不知道下一步该怎么办时，远处传来喊叫声。
To her great joy, the helicopter didn't miss us this time and it landed near the big rock slowly.
令她十分欣喜的是，直升机这次没有错过我们，它缓缓地降落在大石头附近。
Looking up quickly, we found these clear marks easily. It was with the help of these marks that we quickly found the exit.
我们迅速抬头看，很容易到这些清晰的标记，正是在这些标记的帮助下，我们很快到了出口。
三、救援脱险
1.雪山脱险
尽管我们筋疲力尽，但是我们没有停下来，我们咬紧牙关继续挖沟槽。
Exhausted as we were, we didn’t stop. Gritting our teeth, we kept digging the trench.
我们一点一点的把雪挖出来，在经历了似乎一个世纪之后（夸张手法），我们终于成功了。
Inch by inch,we dug the snow out.After what seemed a century, we made it.
2.冰上救援
他把树枝推向我。我立刻抓住它，最终被哈利从冰冷的水中拖了出来。真是死里逃生。
He pushed the branch toward me. I grabbed immediately and was dragged out of the icy water by Harry. What a narrow escape!
3.洞穴救援
No sooner had we arrived where the child was trapped than the man started to scan the surroundings.Then he inched toward the hole and stretched out to seize the child's hands, pulling him out without reserve.(动作链）
我们一到孩子被困的地方，那个男人就开始观察周国的环境，然后慢慢向洞口走去，仲手
抓住孩子的手，把他完全拉了出来。
Slowly and cautiously, moving forward, we held our hands tightly in order not to be seperated.
